Havana, September 4 (JIT) -- Cuban Raidel Martinez scored his 30th save in the Japanese Professional Baseball League 2023 on Sunday, thus leading in that department in the so-called Central League.

On this day he allowed a hit without a run in an inning of relief to support the 3x0 victory of the Chunichi Dragons over the Hiroshima Carp at the Mazda Stadium of that city.

The right-hander from Pinar del Río added his fourth save of the week and left his effectiveness at 0.21.

Raidel has worked in 44 games, in which he accumulated three wins, one loss, 11 hold points and 30 saves.

In 43 innings pitched, he has allowed 29 hits, including one home run, given away four tickets and struck out 58 times. He has barely allowed three runs and only one clean run.
