Cuba reports 1383 new COVID-19 infections,   11 deaths

Havana, May 15 (RHC)—Cuba reported 1383 new infections of Covid-19   and 11 deaths associated with the disease, 8 of those fatalities from Havana.

For the second time this week, the island breaks the record of the most cases reported in a day.

The National Director of Epidemiology Doctor Francisco Duran announced that 6 864 positive patients were admitted to hospitals, the highest figure ever since the beginning of the pandemic.

The specialist also warned about the increase of imported cases, 153. Havana, the Capital reported 784 cases, Santiago 135, and Artemisa 62.

The Caribbean island accumulates to date 123 221 cases and 796 deaths.
