Havana, Sep 30 (RHC) On Thursday, Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel toured the Libertad community in the municipality of La Lisa, one of more than 60 neighborhoods in the capital that are receiving the transformation of their institutions, services and housing.

According to the Twitter account of the Presidency, 1820 people live in that settlement in 250 homes. They defend the concept of work of the People's Power "that must prevail in everything that is done".

The visit is part of a series tours of the top leadership of the country through vulnerable localities of the capital that show visible changes in road, hydraulic, housing, educational and health infrastructure.

Recently, Gerardo Hernández, General Coordinator of the Committees for the Defense of the Revolution (CDR), explained that the intention is to extend this movement to all the provinces of the country, and that the people along with the ministries and institutions participate in giving solution to problems in communities.
