Havana, December 2 (RHC)-- Cuban Prime Minister Manuel Marrero delivered on Wednesday his accountability report to the National Assembly of People's Power -Parliament-, following the schedule foreseen in the functioning of the legislative body.

The head of Government highlighted the participation of the Central State Administration Agencies in preparing the document during the delivery to the head of the National Assembly, Esteban Lazo.

Marrero also pointed out the enrichment of the report with the opinions expressed in the session of the Council of Ministers, according to the Cuban Parliament's website.

For his part, the president of the National Assembly recalled the historic nature of this event a few hours before commemorating the 45th anniversary of the constitution of the supreme organ of State power on December 2, 1976.

"This accountability only happens in a country like ours. We are sure that our population will follow the progress of this important process", added Lazo.
