Havana, Nov 25 (RHC) Cuba's Minister of Public Health, José Ángel Portal Miranda exchanged in Doha with his counterpart from Qatar, Hanan Mohamed Al Kuwari, on ways to develop cooperation in the sector.

 

On the occasion of the Cuban minister's visit to that country, the Cuban Embassy in the Arab nation stressed that the two States are brothers, with a long history of cooperation in the health sector.

 

Portal Miranda and Al Kuwari toured the Aisha Bint Hamad Al Attiyah Hospital, which was recently opened.

 

As part of his agenda in Qatar, the Antillean minister also exchanged with Cuban medical collaborators working in that nation.

 

He stressed that the island's medical mission is an example of South-South cooperation for the benefit of both peoples.
