Havana, May 11 (RHC)-- Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez has met in Berlin with his German counterpart, Frank Steinmeier.
Sources close to the meeting said the encounter had been cordial and that the two sides had voiced satisfaction over the level of bilateral relations.
The visiting Cuban foreign minister had met earlier with Germany’s federal minister for Economic Cooperation and Development, Guerd Muller, and had visited the German national parliament, the Bundesrat, where he met with lawmakers of the Central America and Caribbean Group.
This is the first visit by a Cuban foreign minister to Germany in 40 years.
