Havana, May 20 (RHC)-- Cuban rapper Telmary will soon celebrate 20 years of artistic life with the release of a new album entitled ‘Mar adentro’.

In statements to Cuban press, Telmary said this new musical production is dedicated to Yemaya -- Goddess of the ocean—of which she is a devotee.

Telmary said the album is full of surprises and includes collaborations by several Cuban artists like Omara Portuondo, Yussa, Alexander Abreu, Pedrito Martínez, Osain del Monte, among others.

The artist said a distinctive feature is that unlike most musicians, she plans to first release the album in full and after that, she will begin to promote each and every track. She added that the album will be released on social media, accompanied by a ten-part audiovisual series entitled ‘Music is my way’, dedicated to the ten most important moments throughout her 20-year artistic life.

Telmary said she will certainly make some noise on social networks to celebrate with her followers. ‘Mar adentro’ mixes urban music, with other Cuban and foreign genres.

This is an album to dance, said Telmary, to enjoy and have a good time with family and friends, but also to reflect.
