La Paz, July 8 (RHC)-- The president of Bolivia, Luis Arce, warned Thursday that the right wing is trying to manipulate various trade union sectors in order to divide and destabilize the country.

During the Great Rally for the Trade Union Unity Pact, in the city of Santa Cruz, the president stressed that "the right wing always uses and manipulates some brothers.  We always see through the media people who claim to represent the union family.

The Bolivian head of state regretted "that some are being used and manipulated by the right wing to divide and disorient the popular movement."    Arce spoke about the leaders handed over to the right wing who have deceived the union family. "Today it is time to show unity of our social organizations, because if the trade union family is united the Government is strong and is maintained," he said.

Likewise, President Arce added that "the recipe to defeat the right-wing coup is the unity" of social organizations and institutions.

The Bolivian president commented that "we have promoted the Trade Union Protection Law, which is in the Plurinational Legislative Assembly, it has come out of your initiative", in order to provide guarantees to the sector, "it recognizes the right to have housing, health, retirement, all this is recognized in the bill."
