Caracas, June 17 (RHC)-- Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro rejected the latest remarks by his U.S. counterpart Donald Trump against Cuba and Venezuela, calling in an affront against all of Latin America.

During a speech Friday from Miraflores Palace, Maduro stressed that the hate, threatening message sent by Trump from Miami, fully demonstrated his profound ignorance about and disrespect for Latin American peoples, their history and their inalienable right to self-determination,

President Maduro refuted the U.S. president's expressed pretensions to further tighten the U.S. economic siege against Cuba. He called on Latin American governments and peoples to close ranks with Cuba, and strengthen unity to confront Washington's latest aggressions against the region.
