Havana, June 26 (RHC)-- Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel sent a letter to Antonio Guterres, UN Secretary General, on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the signing of the United Nations Charter, the organization's founding treaty.

In the letter, the Cuban president alluded to the current global challenges of humanity, without forgetting the crisis that the COVID-19 pandemic has unleashed in all spheres of society around the world.

After briefly reflecting on the complex international scenario and the different conflicts we are all facing, Díaz-Canel advocated that all signatories of the UN Charter comply with the commitments made, which are indispensable to promote a fair, democratic and equitable international order.
