Polisario Front leader sends warm message to Cuban people and authorities

Sahrawi refugee camps, Jan 15 (RHC) On Saturday, the leader of the Polisario Front and president of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic, Brahim Gali, sent a warm message to the people and Cuban authorities.

On the occasion of the celebration in those territories of the XVI Congress of the organization, Gali received the Cuban delegation headed by Yudi Rodriguez, a member of the Secretariat of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC), who took the opportunity to ratify the solidarity of his country with the cause of this people.

In perfect Spanish, the Saharawi leader conveyed special greetings to the leader of the Cuban Revolution, Raul Castro, President Miguel Diaz Canel, and the people of the island.

It is an honor to meet with a representation of Cuba, a nation with which we have historical ties, from which we receive help in the fields of health and education, with much courage shown in the resistance and victories despite the fierce hostility of imperialism, said Gali.

At the same time, he admitted that the Polisario meeting comes at a delicate moment after the breaking of the cease-fire by Morocco and the alignment of the United States, France, and more recently Spain, with the position of Rabat of not accepting the right to self-determination of the Saharawis.

In any case, Gali emphasized the same will that inspired the struggle of our people prevails.
