The ambassador said that Washington’s economic, commercial, and financial blockade not only affects Cuba but the whole world due to its extraterritorial scope

Havana, Apr 8 (RHC) Cuban Ambassador to France Otto Vaillant thanked the French Communist Party (FCP) on Saturday for its solidarity and support in the struggle against the United States blockade.

I thank the French communists for their support for a people facing the longest US blockade, an unjust, inhumane, genocidal, and illegal policy by successive governments that have deprived us of life, development, and peace, Vaillant said when addressing the 39th FCP Congress, which is taking place in Marseille from April 7 to 10.

The ambassador said that Washington’s economic, commercial, and financial blockade not only affects Cuba but the whole world due to its extraterritorial scope.

Speaking at the Palais du Pharo in Marseille, Vaillant stressed that the Cuban Revolution remains invincible despite aggression.

In his words, the diplomat conveyed a message of friendship and fraternity from the Central Committee of the Community Party of Cuba (PCC) and its people to the meeting and PCF National Secretary Fabien Roussel.

The diplomat said that Cuba would prosper with its people’s unity and international solidarity.

In his speech, the ambassador reaffirmed Cuba’s solidarity with Palestine, which has been a victim of the illegal occupation and crimes committed by the Israeli Government. (Source: PL)
