Havana, August 7 (RHC) Diosdado Cabello, the first vice president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), paid tribute to Fidel Castro at the cemetery of Santa Ifigenia in Santiago de Cuba, where he began a visit to the largest island in the Antilles on Monday.

 

The gesture with fresh flowers was also extended to José Martí, the Cuban National Hero; to the initiator of the independence struggles, Carlos Manuel de Céspedes, and to Mariana Grajales, the Mother of the Cubans, all lined up in the front row of the necropolis, where an eternal flame keeps the memory alive.
