Havana, Sep 17 (RHC) The Cuban president, Miguel Díaz-Canel, met today with his Brazilian counterpart, Luis Inacio Lula Da Silva, and signed three bilateral instruments in the spheres of science, technology and innovation, health and agriculture .

In the framework of the G77  Summit, which ended this Saturday in this capital, Díaz-Canel and Lula held official talks, which the Cuban president described as warm and fruitful.

During the exchange, they reviewed the current state of bilateral ties, noting ample opportunities and willingness to strengthen ties in various areas of common interest.

The head of state of the Caribbean nation pointed out that the agreements between Cuba and Brazil “will allow us to expand cooperation between our countries and demonstrate the mutual will to raise the level of relations for the benefit of both peoples.”

Lula arrived this Saturday morning in Havana, where he inaugurated the speech session of the last day of debates of the G77, in which he once again rejected the blockade that the United States has imposed on Cuba for more than six decades, country he considers a defender of fairer global governance.
