Havana, November 19 (RHC) -- "The Homeland is all of us and with you it grows," said the First Secretary of the Party and President of the Republic Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez to the participants in the Fourth Conference The Nation and Emigration, which was held for two days in Havana.

In his words, he addressed the transcendence of the 1978 dialogue promoted by Fidel and reiterated "the will to continue developing a broad and frank dialogue from the largest of the Antilles", said Díaz Canel. At the closing of the Fourth Conference The Nation and Emigration, which was also attended by Members of the Political Bureau Manuel Marrero Cruz and Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs respectively, he denounced the impact of the cruel blockade policy against Cuba.

He also asserted before the more than 300 participants in the meeting, how "Cuba resists and creates". Díaz-Canel also spoke about the genocide against Palestine, about the progress of the government program based on Science and Innovation, about the discrediting campaigns against the largest of the Antilles and about the donations resulting from the solidarity of Cuban residents abroad who help us so much, while highlighting the validity today of Marti's formula "With all and for the good of all".

In assessing the Fourth Conference on the Nation and Emigration, he highlighted the importance of the topics analyzed by the participants from more than 50 countries, among them the call for the elimination of the blockade, the importance of preserving the social conquests and our legitimate right to self-determination and independence.

The First Secretary of the Party emphasized the need for unity in pursuit of greater participation of Cubans living abroad.
