Moscow, April 24 (RHC)-- Russia will host in 2024 the World Youth Festival with the attendance of 20 thousand people from 180 countries, the head of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs (Rosmolodezh), Ksenia Razuvaeva, informed today.

"This is a very big and significant event, taking into account the current situation and difficult conditions," Razuvaeva said.

According to the official, the delegates include young people living in nations with governments hostile to Russia, "which is an opportunity to tell what the Western media hide or manipulate, once again confirming that attempts to isolate our country in any way are futile".

According to his experience of interaction with youth organizations working today in different countries of the world, there is a colossal interest towards Russia.

"We have projects with international scope, this is the Great Change contest, the Leaders of Russia contest and many other events every year, where people from all countries participate, friends and non-friends, because there are no hostile countries, there are no hostile people, there are hostile politicians," he said.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree on holding the World Youth Festival in February-March 2024. (Source: Prensa Latina)
