University of Havana will celebrate International Convention in Cuba

 

Havana, May 18 (RHC) More than 2,500 delegates from Cuba and 38 other countries will participate in the First International Convention Saberes-UH 2023 of the University of Havana.

The academic forum, which will take place from May 29 to June 2, was conceived within the festivities for the 295th anniversary of the University of Havana and aims at being a platform to delve into the different investigative processes in which it is found.

The appointment will address issues related to biotechnology and biomedical sciences; renewable energy; environment and sustainable development; basic sciences; local development; scientific problems of higher education in the 21st century; economy and public administration; relations with the United States; public politics; cultural, archival and heritage processes.

During the conclave, the delegates will attend colloquia, conferences, thematic tables, seminars, symposia, workshops and student meetings, in which they will discuss issues related to science, innovation and technology in order to promote the social development of the country and the cooperation of the university with its counterparts in the world.

During the event, the 27th Model United Nations of Havana HAVMUN 2023, the student symposium on Environmental Management for Sustainable Development, and the First meeting for students of Social and Humanistic Sciences will meet. (Source: Prensa Latina)
