Barbecue to Celebrate 70 Years of Peaceful Relations Between Canada and Cuba

Toronto, July 31 (RHC) -– The Canadian-Cuban Friendship Association of Niagara is set to celebrate 70 years of peaceful relations between Canada and Cuba, the Forterie Times reports.

The celebration named “A Taste of Cuba” will be held Sunday, August 2nd at 1760 Ridge Rd., in Ridgeway.

Special guests include Toronto Consul-General Javier Domokos Ruiz and his staff, who will be on hand to discuss Cuba's latest developments in “an intimate and informal setting,” said Canadian-Cuban Friendship Association chairman, Dave Thomas.

Political dignitaries MP Malcolm Allen, MP Dean Allison, Regional chairman Alan Caslin and Welland Ward 3 Coun. John Mastroianni are also expected to attend.

Those who attend the event will enjoy Cuban food and music.
