The Council of State approves new decree-laws for the strengthening of the Cuban economic-social model

Havana, August 7 (RHC)--The Council of State approved the decree-law on Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises, facilitating their insertion in the country's productive transformation.

In an ordinary meeting of that body, which was headed by the President of the National Assembly of People's Power, Esteban Lazo Hernández, and which was attended by the President of the Republic, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, via videoconference, seven other decree-laws were issued,  following the country's economic and social Strategies.

Among others, they included the  Decree-Law on non-agricultural cooperatives, which regulates their constitution, operation and extinction, a Decree-Law on the exercise of self-employment, which updates the general provisions for its development and regulates other particularities.  and a decree-law on the conservation, improvement and sustainable management of soils and the use of fertilizers.

The approved provisions with their complementary norms will be published in due time in the Official Gazette of the Republic.
