Youth leaders from Cuba and South Africa strengthen relations

Havana, Feb 17 (RHC) The head of the International Relations Department of the Young Communist League (UJC), Martha Brossard held a virtual meeting this Friday with Khulekani Skosana, president of the International Relations Committee of the Youth League of the African National Congress of South Africa (ANC).

The Cuban Ministry of Foreign Affairs reports on its website that the meeting was also attended by other officials from both organizations.

Khulekani highlighted the historic relations between the two countries and advocated for the strengthening of these relations through the rapprochement between youth organizations.

He also thanked Cuba for its support in the struggles for the liberation of the African continent.

For her part, the UJC leader acknowledged South Africa's unrestricted support to the largest island of the Antilles in its just struggle against the economic, commercial, and financial blockade imposed by the U.S. government for more than 60 years.
