Managua, March 22 (JIT) - The bulk of the Cuban national soccer team is already in Managua, where it will play a friendly match next Tuesday, March 26.

The stay in Nicaragua will also allow the Cuban soccer team to have a training base.

The squad called up by coach Yunielys Castillo will face some absences such as Fabián Gloor, due to an injury, and goalkeeper Raiko Arozarena, who at the last minute communicated his decision to concentrate on the match to be held by his club on the same date.

"Among the objectives are to retake tactical dynamics and to mesh the collective functioning, which will culminate with the test that will result in the friendly match against the Nicaraguans as part of the Fifa date in March", highlighted Castillo.

Three other players involved in a Nicaraguan league match will join the team after the match. They are Maykel Reyes and Alejandro Delgado, who play for ART Jalapa, and defender Darío Ramos, who plays for the University of Managua club.
