Havana, December 9 (RHC)-- The Prime Minister of Cuba, Manuel Marrero Cruz, toured the tourist facilities of Cayo Largo del Sur, as part of the governmental visit that the country's authorities made to the special municipality of Isla de la Juventud, led by Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel.

"We checked the progress of the Tourism Program and exchanged with some of the 162 national clients staying at the Sol Cayo Largo hotel," he wrote on his Twitter account.

The head of the tourism sector, Juan Carlos García Granda, accompanied Marrero Cruz, and they learned about the preparations for the current tourist season and compliance with biosecurity measures amid the coronavirus pandemic.
